Lager yeast starter temperature

Going to be making a starter soon for a Czech Pilsner using WLP802 Lager yeast. I presume I can make the starter as normal at room temperature on a stir plate? Or does it need to be at the lower fermentation temperature?

I had this exact same dilemma (apart from I’m using Omega German Lager for a Munich Helles) at the weekend and came across this thread that says room temp is fine:

I grow all my starters with the fridge set to around 20c. Good luck with the lager.
