I've got a walk in fridge at work so over the summer break (6 weeks, I work at a school) I'm thinking of moving my kit to work for a day to do a mega kit brew day.
The fridge will be around 4c is it too cold?

For lager I ferment at 12C and lager at 2C. This is with Saflager S-23 which has a temperature range of 9-22C (ideally 12-15C). So 4C sounds too low for fermenting but OK for lagering. Maybe other yeasts are different.

4C is too cold for fermenting, so why not just adjust the temperature to your yeast, probably about 10 - 12C would be suitable. You could brew a few brews over the time, good luck
