Lager too cold

My favorite lager is Coopers Heritage Lager, i brew it all the time. Recently i inherited a beer fridge so i thought this would be ideal for chilling my lager and extra storage space, tried one last night and it was absolutely freezing but it wasnt very nice, its nectar at room temperature just wondered what was happening to my beer? I have now turned the temp up on the fridge but yet to sample another

I had a similar experience in January with the same kit, it seemed to taste worse the more I chilled it. It was good to chilll and drink a few weeks later. I think I was just trying to drink it a little bit too young. After all it is a lager and needs longer conditioning than most other kits. Its bloody strong too if you use a can of malt
