lager strength

hi guys, I've pretty much got home brewing to a reasonable standard now, and this batch is really nice but it lacks that bit of humph in the strength department I'm only using a youngs lager for brewing, can you please suggest a stronger lager, or would I be better with a pilsner, thanks guys.

Are you talking about literal strength or is it just thin and boring? If so, it's because you brewed a bog standard lager :p

You could use more beer enhancer to up the ABV, that way you'll get a good beer and a strong one too. Better brew kits are well recommended.

yeah you can enhance the taste and mouth feel with using DME stops it being as watery and just makes it taste a lot better :

+1 for the above ,it is what i have done and the difference is miles apart from kits and its really not that hard, go BIAB AG its even easier and less kit
