Labelling

What do you lovely folk do for bottle labelling? I’m keen to keep it cheap and cheerful. I had read somewhere that you could use brown paper and paint it with milk to stick it on and that made them easier to take off again when it comes to reusing bottles....
(I HATE picking off overly sticky labels off things...)
I do want to label as some may be gifts...

Hi!
I don't bother labelling, but I have considered a label attached to a parcel tag dropped over the neck of the bottle.
