Kumquats...it's that time of year

All the supermarkets should be stocking these little beauties for Xmas.

Wash them, dice them, freeze them then add them to your wit bier boil instead if curacoa orange. IMO they are so much better than curacoa...not as bitter...and a bit cheaper. They are a good balance between sweet and bitter orange.

If you have a chinese market near you (nearest to me is Edinburgh) then you can get them most if the year.
