Hi all,

being eyeing up a kolsch for ages. Like the profile descriptions and was interested in an ale thats a lager!

Getting much better at the whole process, its all running much smoother and cutting the time down significantly. Still not hitting the the target brew length, which is doing my head in. The 30lt boiler keep cutting out so have to split between the 18lt boiler and a 18lt stock pot on the stove. very annoying!!!! Was a liter under

sorry to hear about your boiler - what sort is it? There have been previous posts where people have linked out the thermostat to stop this or may be able to help - if you post some pics of the electrics i`m sure some one could help :thumb: Good luck the brew sounds great

Well, what a great beer, still a bit young at two weeks, but wow, I have surprised myself, even surpassed all expectations. I dont have a cooler but this would be amazing cool.

I recommend this brew for anyone who doesnt have the ability to lager their lager

I`m really interested in brewing something simular to this - i`ll be picking up a load of grain on friday  So will add 5kg of lager malt to my order - would it be in style to use a higher percentage of wheat malt as i have some safale K-97 yeast that is supposed to be for wheat type beers that might work well with this, I also had a great grenne king hop beer a while ago flavoured and bittered with tettnanger hops that I would like to try to replicate
