Has anyone tried one of the Klarstein fermenters (which they call a mash kettle?!)?

I’ve been seriously coveting one of the SS brew buckets, but the fact the klarstein ones are half the price is pretty attractive, even if it does lack the thermowell and nifty rotating racking arm (not sure if this can be retrofitted?)

I havent got one, but I like the look of the ball valve tap. All my FV's dont have taps as I'm terrified that if they did, one day I'd have a catastophic tap failure resulting in wort all over the floor of my flat. MrsMQ would not be best pleased

Bet you could fit a roatating racking arm. They dont look that complicated

I have 30L one and its nice and shiny and easy to clean. Like the fact that can just attach tube to rack but downsides are its too tall to fit in my brew fridge or my fermentation chamber and since I read its a bad idea to use brew belt to keep it warm its not been used in this colder time of year. These problems are of course specific to my temperature controlled fermentation options having been devised with more squat plastic buckets in mind.

Its to do with risk of electric shock having element with current passing through it wrapped roubd large conducting object. Sure someone will be along to explain better.

I've got one and they are nice pieces of kit for the money. I've used an inkbird and a brew belt on it in the past, if you're going to do this suggest you inspect the brew belt thoroughly for any damage before installing. I've since moved to a 50w tubular heater in fridge. I'm also using a fridge freezer as fermentation chamber and although it's taller than a plastic bucket still fits comfortably.

Does the 25l version contain 25l plus headspace, or is 25l to the top? Does anyone have the height of it?
