KitchenAid Grain Mill

Hello,

The Mrs is getting a KitchenAid stand mixer for Xmas, and she told me about their grain mill attachment...

Has anybody used one of these fir crushing brewing grains with success? My fear is that they look geared mostly towards grinding super fine for flour, rather than a gentle crush - although it is adjustable.

Funnily my Mrs is having a fish finder and I've just ordered a suprise for her....£50 worth of hooks,swivels and other stuff.

Ideal! Mrs Clint, however, does not vett my angling or brewing purchases so all is good!

I think someone brought this up recently, and the big downside was that you could only crush something like 1kg at a time before having to give it a 45min rest - it’s aimed more at bread making than beer making.
