I have had a king keg split on me over the weekend, which had my Imperial Porter happily ageing in it! I went into my bathroom where it was in the bath, and there was a hissing sound coming from the bottom, and a tiny trickle of beer. I think I caught it just in time, as the level looked where it was to start with.

I quickly had to empty another keg (budget one) into 2 litre PET bottles and transfer.

This has just convinced me of 1 thing. It's time to go for Cornies  . I have already emailed Norman, but he is away until later this month. Will 2 cornies be a good starting point? I still have 2 pressure barrels left, so can keep going with these as well.

To quote Napoleon (the pig in Animal Farm)

"Two Cornii Good! Four Cornii Better!"

Be warned, it's a slippery road. I only intended on buying a couple but gradually I had to adopt more (including a couple of baby ones) to keep the other two company. :)
