Hi Bobob
Seems no-one from your neck of the woods can give you a steer. It's often the way that local supplies of CO2 can be tricky to source, but there's a few options. Suppliers of fire extinguishers, paintball or aquarium equipment, garden centres, hydroponics suppliers, garages/welding workshops and (very usefully) your local, will all have or use CO2. But they ain't going to beat a path to your door - you have to get busy! Do research, make phone calls, drop into places. It all comes down to what works best for you, the major factors being convenience and cost.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Bobobenton,

i am too from basingstoke i got my co2 from http://www.hobbyweld.co.uk/ they have a distributer in odiham
Just Kampers

Address: Unit 1 Stapeley Manor, Long Lane, Odiham, RG29 1JE,
Telephone: 01256 862 288

just give them a ring and they'll get one in for you:cheers:

Glad to hear they are willing to get one in, I went into my local hobby weld supplier and they swore blind you could not get CO2 cylinders. Ended up going to another agent in Aylesbury an they couldn't have been more helpful.
Am well impressed with cornies and am getting my head around the right carbonation and serving oressures. Addition of a fridge and temp control made a huge difference to consistency of pour.
Good luck and happy brewing

Cornies are defiantly the way forward for me, have a lot of mates round often so go through gallons of homebrew, I don't miss washing those bottles, got about 400 that will be going up for sale soon. Am still trying to sus the cornie pressure thing but i think I'm getting there lol.

Ah that is amazing i was worried after seeing some people advertising Food grade CO2 (I'm not a complete moron i know its just carbon and oxygen) just had worry of other particulates remaining in tanks etc (i know you have to be careful when diving), but that odiham link is amazing i live 5 mins from odiham in hartely wintney! AMAZING! will be in touch with them all very soon!

Thanks to all for your help!
