Just started a wherry and am going to keep it in my pressure keg. Was wondering if you need to add co2 or will there be enough without?

it should be okay primed with 100g sugar providing it's not too cold when you're drinking it. warm for 1 week, then the cool for 3 weeks or so, and it'll be nicely carbonated - any cooler than optimum serving temp (i'm not sure what that temp is, somebody may help you here) and it can run out too fast. at that point it's okay to add co2 if you want :thumb: i usually need to for the last 10 pints or so.

First use of the king keg for my coopers stout.
Put some Vaseline around the plastic seal as explained, tightened it as hand tight as I can.
Gave it a quick one second squirt of co2 to make sure it was nicely covered until the sugar kicked in.
When I unscrewed the co2 bottle it seemed as if when I held the brass valve the gas was coming out (but only when I held the valve).
Does this mean they're is an issue?
