We have high quality corny kegs and also high quality patented 20 litre PET Kegs with ball lock posts, A and D type valves.
I hadn’t even noticed you’d posted about these plastic kegs (it was hidden at the end of an unrelated paragraph)

Do you have more info on these, when they’ll be at B2B, price point, size, other specs etc? Had a look on your website and can’t see them. I was going to buy a 2nd 10L SS minikeg but if this is the right size to fit at the back of my fridge and is cheaper then I’d be tempted.

When I say “the board” I’m referring to an online message board, ie these forums.

I think you can be a major asset the these forums, I just don’t like the snipes at the competitors.
Ah I misunderstood. Thought you meant a board of directors. There is no need for snipes at those who compete fairly and fair competition is very welcome. It drives us to better things. However when suppliers help themselves to what does not belong to them and use underhand methods to gain advantage then it deserves calling it out and I suspect no fair minded person here would disagree with this. As I said I want this thread to focus on what we do well and what we plan to do better.

I think it's more a case of two Aussie companies being involved in a spat over IP and naming rights rather than counterfeit products. I'm sure the mods are keeping an eye out for potentially libellous/defamatory comments.
Under Australian law when you work for a business if you register IP relevant to that business in your own or someone else’s name whilst in its employ then this is illegal. However it is very hard to stop a business in China from helping itself to IP especially in the current climate. We believe it is our duty to ensure our customers know what we offer and what we stand behind so that they can avoid spending money on what the laws in most western countries regard as counterfeit. It is true that some generic items we sell are off the shelf stuff from China and we do this for the sake of having a complete offering. Other products are made in China for us under our QC because we could not make them cost effectively in Australia. Our entire PET fermenter and PET Keg lines are made in Australia because the quality needed can only be achieved with a highly specialised plant of which there are currently very few in the world. The people who manufacture this equipment have no plans to make it available to anyone in China or Australia other than ourselves. All our design and much of our prototyping is done in Australia. Almost the entire team here is involved in home brewing and there is this incredible excitement and passion about making stuff to help people get more out of their hobby or business. Once this Covid thing has passed and any of you find yourselves in Australia then we would love to have you drop by to see for yourselves. With so many brewers on board there are always a few exciting brews on tap and they are free.

When you have made gazillions through the exclusive distribution through brew2bottle in the UK I would gladly take a Keg King paid trip to your manufacturing plant. Would be an insanely interesting trip. ;)

I am frankly glad there is now going to be a greater variety of gadgets and gizmos to come from all this turf war. KK and KL.

Brew2bottle have done well to be exclusive supplier of KK (kudos) as this will and should drive competitive innovation from both companies to get a bigger share of the UK market.

Off topic I'm sure but my 2p
We are delighted that Brew2bottle are our exclusive UK distributor and will work hard with them so that UK home brewers have a great experience.

@Keg King - Do you have a list of all your products that are available in the UK or will be?
And do you have a pipeline of what new innovative things you are planning down the line?
We will let Brew2bottle answer this one as they know what your market wants. Yes we will use this thread to tell you more about things like the low cost 30 litre PET fermenter that is now about to come off the manufacturing line. Also things like the washing kits, heating/cooling control and more will soon be revealed.

I'm also interested in the roadmap for products.

What I would really want is a pressure fermenter with about the same profile as a 30l bucket, so it will fit in an undercounter fridge. I think the snubnose is just that bit too tall.
I would say the new 30 litre “Chubby” will do that nicely for you.

The compressor hump in my fridge is always the pain - tbh I was going to go for a kegland all rounder as it would fit.

But if there are new toys coming ...!
Yes and one option coming will not require a fridge but still give you cold beer straight from the fermenter. You can even take it camping as it runs off 12 volts.

Thought just struck me. Can someone tell me if you can get your arm up to your bicep in that hole? Reaching to the bottom looks involved.

We discourage people from putting their arm inside a PET vessel to clean it. This can easily cause scratching if not done very carefully and so should be avoided. A CIP spray ball like our washer kits have is the best way with appropriate chemical sanitizing and cleaning product. There will be more on this soon.

Some people can and some can't depends on the size of your hand, I cant get my hand in, I just use a $2 toilet brush for cleaning the inside.

The Junior makes a good secondary, or for someone brewing small batches a primary fermenter. Using it as a secondary you can serve directly from it.

So some sodium percarbonate and a soft cloth and caution is not an option?

There would certainly be some interesting beers but right no no one is travelling any time soon. Messed up all our plans for the big brew show in Germany during November but it will just have to wait.

Leaving aside the Fermentasaurus/Fermzilla discussion for a minute, I think there are many people who would be interested in an upgrade for the pin valve in the King keg tops ( although I realise King Keg may not manufacture these valves ).
As an example I bought two of these for a couple of old Boots barrels, one worked fine the other leaked through the pin from new.
This is a common occurrence reading the threads on this board and puts a lot of people off using the KK barrels, as much of the time the valves are simply not fit for purpose.
There must be a gap in the market for a reliable alternative that doesn't require fettling/changing rubbers etc. from day one.
Meanwhile I have reverted back to my old school Boots tops without valves and reprime as necessary with sugar.
I think you are getting confused there cobber, King Keg as opposed to Keg King but a fair comment would be, give the troublesome King Keg the Tijuana and use a Junior or a Tubby to dispense the ale through a picnic tap or whatever. There are so many posts about leaking seals in the King Keg why bother, here is a cheap alternative to serving beer at home without the worry of flat lifeless beer.

@Brew2bottle Homebrew when do you expect to get the FKJr. in? and do you have a sounding valve available?

The King Jnr's are on a boat now and that is expected into port around the 6th Sept, so all being well should be in our warehouse around the 10th September.

The Spunding valves are on a seperate shipment though that are going to be a few weeks after that.

You can check out what we have listed already here

Fermenter King

There are going to be more products, I think we are waiting for a few images on some of the fermenters still, the G3 and a couple more.

Basically if these guys build it we'll fetch them over for you to play with so the range will be growing quickly over the next few months.

Unfortunately the state of Victoria here is going into Stage 4 lockdown so most of us will be working from home and my access to pics to show you is a bit limited. However its also a good time to come up with new ideas for products and so some good things might come out of this. We plan to also run a competition soon for new ideas from Brewers which we might then turn into products.

I'm chuckling now at this :)

The GetErBrewed units are real, don't worry. They will have come through a distribution channel out of Europe which will close once their current stocks are depleted.

Hmmm red crown caps next I think...
Thank f**k for that. They are the peeps I bought my snubnose off a few weeks ago. Was starting to worry that I had bought a wrong 'un.
