keg and bottle

hi all got a brew in the fv due out to day plan on putting it in to a barrel to dry hop then leave it in there for a few weeks .so can i then want to bottle some for a mate can i do that after a few weeks or do i have to do that from the fv so it will prime or will it still prime after 4 or 5 weeks :thumb:

I have before. Worked fine. I've even bottled the last few pints from a broken keg and they seemed okay :

I'd suggest dry hopping in a secondary FV instead though, that way you can just syphon into your keg and bottles, no problemo.

Most people won't dry hop for more than a week by the way, so you'll be good to go after 7 days.
