im glad i took the advice to go with coopers, stout just cracked open the first bottle and it tastes great, it will keep me going while i wait for the tom caxton dark ale which is just bottled, also just started a gerodie scottish export, anyone tried any of these two brews give us your verdict, gota go finish this bottle , "CHEERS"

I have done several Tom Caxton Real Ales.. not had a go at the dark ale yet.. I can honestly say the TC Real Ale is fantastic (and I did mine with just normal sugar).. I am sure the Dark Ale will be just as good, I was honestly blown away by the quality of Tom Caxton Real Ale especially when you consider the price, I hop it turns out well for you pal

I've done a Geordie Export - it was 1990 and I was a student.

Even then I remember it being perfectly drinkable.

I'm a regular Coopers user... I have a Tom Caxton Dark which the local HB shop suggested was a better brew than the packaging suggested - they were right! But, it's not quite up there with the Coopers... although if I left it alone a bit longer it might be... :D
