Just Barreled My Stout

Just put 40 pints (coopers irish stout) into king keg top tap and primed it with 3 1/2 oz granulated sugar. Does that sound about right?
Also wanted to bottle a few pints of it. Would I need to do that now ie asap or can i do that once the beer is ready to be drunk?
I also just bought a lapstock float does it matter which way this sits in the beer or what? 19 days to xmas do u think it will be reday to drink by then? It has been in the primary since i brewed it on the 24th nov :

3.5 oz will be fine, 80g was my prime so not much there.

As for Christmas, no problems no one can tell if a stout is crystal... result!
