luckyeddie
Landlord.
... is drinking that first-ever glass of AG-brewed beer.
Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, crafted by my own fair hands (and no way am I taking a picture because it's only been bottle-conditioning for 9 days so the head is a little 'weak') I give you....
Eddie's Brown Porter.
I just couldn't resist it. I bottled 30 of them just 9 days ago, and I have to reach past them to get something else to drink. Tonight, I thought 'what the hell'.
The taste is phenomenal - better than any kit beer I've ever made with the exception of a few of the Brewferm kits. To say it is so young, it's just knockout. Beautifully malty yet quite dry too, with a wonderful aroma (I suspect that's the Amarillo hops).
Just think what it will be like in 3 months time (like this stuff has a prayer of still being around in May - especially if my brother-in-law gets wind of it).
