Hello all just about to brew my first lager, (yougs brew buddy) been reading and watching clips on how to brew up. The one thing that i cant seem to find any info on :wha: is when you have sterilised your gear ie the bin, spoon etc and later on your bottles do i rinse them with water after i have soaked them in the tablets or solution. Any other tips, but in paticular this one, will be much appreciated.

Happy brewing everyone and thanks in advance shaunyp :drink:

Aye, I always rinse them out with clean tap water before using them etc.

One final thing that I do, when it comes to the fermentation bin and cleaning it. I fill it with about 10 litres of warm water, cleaning solution in and then use the spoon against the side to kinda scoop some water up to the top. Means that the water glides down the sides and means I don't have to "jiggle" the bin around to make sure the water touches all the surfaces etc.

My old technique used to be to tip the bin on its side so the cleaning water touched all of the inside, but that involved rotating it. And normally meant spilling some on my leg/carpet/the cat.

Just one tip. And welcome.
