Had a great bit of help with this one from Steve at the local brew shop.

I wanted to do a SNPA clone as its long been a favourite of mine. Now that I have moved away from kits and on to extract I thought it was time to give it a go.

Sierra XR4
3 kg Light DME in 9.5ltrs of water
28g Chinook 45min
14g Perle 14min
1tsp Irish Moss
28g Cascade 1min

topped up to 21ltrs with cold water and chilled to 22c and a pkt of Safale US-05 pitched in.

OG1052 temp corrected

I will dry hop after 7days when I transfer it to a clean FV.

Hope you enjoyed my pics as much as I enjoyed the brew day

That looks like it went well, I'm a fan of Sierra Nevada, I even have a glass but it is a proper pint which kinda seems wrong to me for an American beer far too much room for a 350ml bottle...

Good to see an extract brew documented, don't seem to see as many of those.

Yes it was a good brew day, I have posted a couple of extract brews and I will do acouple more before I turn to the dark side. SNPA is a great drop and I can tell you that it will be served in pints in my house :P
