I'm pretty sure it is. most "ready made tins" have the yeast and nutrient in it. only thing you need to add is sugar/malt and water. if not then lager yeast sachets are usually 99p from your LHBS.
 
I might be wrong but I bet it's not lager yeast but some strain of ale yeast that can ferment at higher temps 18/24 C lager yeast works at a lower temp so the kits put ale Yeast in so that it works for amature brewers withought temp control( myself included )
 
Thanks for the info guys, used a lager yeast anyway as I always keep a few sachets in stock, just wanted to know if it was a lager yeast I could use for the future.

It is not a kit I have used before but thought I'd give it a go, it started fermenting this morning after the usual 18 - 30 hour nail biting period :D

good time for keeping the temp down to around a controlled 14 - 16degC :cheers:
