Who's to fault if one of those on the bike overtakes in the wrong lane into oncoming traffic and gets splattered?

If bikes are allowed to use the road then they have a right to make proper progress. Drivers of heavier vehicles have a duty of care to the more vulnerable and so, normally, it should be the driver of the motorised vehicle who is at fault. The notion that cars and buses have priority, unless they are specifically given priority or they are emergency vehicles is nonsense. Reckless driving by any road user, on the other hand, is an offence.

My view, if you are going to have cyclists cars buses lorrys sharing the roads in London you need to keep them apart, some off the footage show's them ignoring crossings running into the back of each other running red lights, no road sense what ever

Well I've been static in traffic/Road works and had some berk on a bike trying to get by banging on car roofs trying to get cars to move into spaces that aren't there.

So this is a troll anti cyclist post then.
Cyclists don't need to take a test that is the law.
Most drivers have not looked at the highway code since taking their test even though there have been some significant recent changes.

Tests for drivers of motor vehicles doesn't seem to help....

No this is not a troll of cyclist, so don't call me troll if you don't mind, no body in their right mind can defend some of the things in that video

Bloody heck...me,the Mrs and my two sons all have bikes and while I don't get out on mine as much as I'd like to I'm definitely NOT anti cyclist or trolling or whatever it's called.
There's plenty of idiots on two wheels.

As a wagon driver I couldn't disagree more, if I pull up at a junction and indicator to turn left no cyclists should then undertake me as the vehicle says "caution this vehicle is turning left" but they often do.

I am sick of people accusing wagon drivers of being bad drivers I would love cyclists to drive a simulator so they could see how many blinds spots we have they would be shocked, the video shows how many cyclists are self centred moron I see it all the time.

BTW I am not saying all cyclist's are bad and not all wagon drivers are angels.

As for self-centred morons, look to your own profession. I've been run off quiet roads twice by said morons shouting that I shouldn't be on the road as I don't pay road tax. There's no such thing as road tax! One of these knobs had a young girl of 5 or 6 in the cab with him preventing me from giving him the full gob-full. So don't talk to me about morons!
In fact most road users are polite and considerate. I don't know if it's coincidence but the worst by a long chalk seem to be those who deliver and pick up skips. I think you need to be declared blind to get a license for that job.

I've cycled to work pretty much every day for the last 25 years and I can definitely say there's as many numpties in cars as there is on bicycles, however nothing annoys me more than cyclists jumping red lights, totally unnecessary and gives us a bad name.

It can be frightening though, a few months ago someone went past me going at least 80 in a 40, he missed me by no more than 6 inches, I felt the warmth of his engine as he shot past.

I normally stay out of these threads but even watching some of that video in the OP is properly scary. What I find difficult is cyclist ignoring road markings, signs, the things that are there to protect everyone. There's a selfishness about ignoring this that even if people say it's their own risk, it's not really, it's all their families and friends that have their lives impacted if they are injured or killed, the distress to the drivers and all those around them. This isn't anti-cyclist since the same applies to everyone using the road. There is an argument for licensing on bikes in some specific settings like inner city roads, but not in most areas since it would be unenforceable, but it will never happen. I'm a big fan of Amsterdam and you just don't see this sort of cycling problems, same in Berlin, and I think the difference is expectation of speed. The cyclists in cities in the UK seem to have an expectation of cycling faster by going between traffic and often faster than the cars. Either way, bad behaviour on the road is bad behaviour irrespective of whether you're on two wheels or behind the wheel.
