Nice! Do they come ready-calibrated?
Not sure yet, it just says for optimal results calibrate before use, can't do much at mo grand daughter just turned up
Enjoy playing with it. I went OTT with the calibration, tho it does give good, fairly accurate readings when not too affected by yeast debris. 
Does it measure the alcohol in your body? Looks a bit large for internal use...
Loving mine and piece of cake to use albeit slightly bemused that as I sit on the train my lager is showing at 1.002 so time to dug the analogue version out when I get home.

Just watched the David Heath YouTube video on that. Looks a great bit of kit. I'm tempted but I usually have at least 2 if not 3 brews on the go. Plus I'm generally a "leave it for 2 weeks minimum" before I bottle so I'd probably ignore the readings!

Interested how people get on with it.
I have a tilt and I’ve fallen out of love with it as it always ends up with gunk stuck to the top.
I’ve been toying with the idea but can’t bring myself to part with the money.
Mainly because it’s a third of the cost in Australia.
I see AHB have it and I’m sure he’s selling it at a reasonable mark up (he’s running a business not a charity) the supplier and shipping costs just seem to be against us in the UK.
But even Aliexpress it’s significantly cheaper if you’re shipping to the US.

Have you read the PDF for set up? I had one but had the same problem as Matt_W . Once krausen starts sticking to it just gives out false readings. Cant go wrong with an analogue hydrometer. Binned mine too.Anybody know how to connect this barstewart before i throw in the bin

I just think that the marketing of a lot of home brewing merchandise is about convincing us to buy what we don't really need.

Figuratively “binned” I hope.
I built my own, based on a totally submerged weight to avoid the krausen sticking to it. Works well but like @Little Rock Brewing I always just give my beers two weeks in the FV anyhow so I don‘t really use it.
I love mine, the calibration is way off but it doesn’t matter. I mainly use it to time the D-rest when brewing lagers, and if it’s otherwise idle to watch a fermentation progress towards finished. The absolute values don’t matter for either, and OG an FG are measured with the hydrometer.
