Reading the recent threads on Ispindle I am now considering treating myself to one.
The one question I have is the active monitoring. Do I need to have a PC on all the time or does the spindle contain any form of memory that dumps the data?
TIA
Mike

The iSpindel doesn't hold any data. It wakes up every period of time (that you can configure, like every 30 minutes), takes a reading and then posts it somewhere. That somewhere is up to you. It can be a computer in your home (assuming it is running software to handle it), or an internet service like ubidots, bruspy or the grainfather app.

When you want to check the gravity/temperature, you then load up your phone/computer and go to wherever it dumps the data.
