Hi all,
Here's all couple of pics of the wheat beer I bottled today, does it look right?

Hi TETB, the only finings I've ever used is Irish moss but I forgot/ decided against with this brew as wheat beers are normally cloudy. It's all bottled now so all I can do is wait.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how long to leave it before I try one?

Not long for a wheat beer. Once its carbed get rattled in about it. Much better when young in my experience. Actually, last one I misplaced some bottles and drnak them when they must have been 3 or 4 months old and had dropped clear. They were no use tbh. Much better younger.

Thanks brewnaldo, have got half a dozen in plastic bottles so will keep an eye on them and drink them once carved. Though I may have to give some away as I don't drink much more than one bottle s day and have 42 bottles at approximately 5.2%

Many wheat beers use a deliberately low-flocculating yeast so that they DON'T drop clear very easily. They're supposed to be drunk cloudy and, after many weeks, when they do finally drop clear, the taste is not the same and it's common practice to rouse the yeast back into the beer. If you want a clear wheat beer, then either leave it for ages or try using a flocculant yeast and incorporate a ferrulic acid rest into your mash schedule. I've never tried the latter, but it's very well documented.

I bottled my American wheat beer 6 days ago and the test plastic PET bottles are very firm. Might try one tomorrow night at 7 days in...
