Just wondering,

I'm just doing my fourth AG brew whilst finishing my second one. :drink:

I've noticed that around week four of conditioning (king keg) the beer started to develop a higher bitterness and much more hoppy smells\tastes. My first AG was consumed after week 2 so AG #2 is the first one I've had that has made it to week four.

I was just wondering if week four is about the time when the beer reaches it's best? It's interesting to see how much a beer changes over the conditioning period.

This stuff goes down way to easily.

I agree  I have trouble leaving it to condition, I've left a box with 4 bottles from each brew aside for christmas

there's certainly an amount of change after about 4 weeks, that's the longest I've managed so far

I have only done extract and kits so I guess I might be a bit off here, but I usually find 4 weeks is the minimum any beer should have in the bottle before it is drinkable. Maybe 3 months for some and still counting.
