Just got back from two weeks holiday in France, brought back plenty of Pelforth Brune, some Trappist ales & wine. We went into a supermarket on one of our shopping trips and as is my want I had a wander down the drinks aisle. I could not believe want I was seeing...

I've not had a taste yet as I only got hold of this one can and a bottle, so is Duff Beer......duff??? :hmm:

Did you also know Duff is Gaelic for Dark so it should be a dark ale not pilsner :thumb:

I have an unopened bottle of Duff my wife's parents got for me from somewhere abroad years back, can't remember where. Apparently there's a guy brewing Duff in Argentina who's under legal action from The Simpsons creators *shrugs* I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few people using the label 'illegitimately' around the globe.

Duff is rotten. I had it years back in a nightclub and it was absolutely disgusting :D

Great novelty though :)

Found out more it's from a company in Eschwege, Germany and distributes in Uk under Duff Beer

Had some a while ago (was in a yellow and blue bottle) Can't remember it being anything special (didn't buy it again if thats any help)!

Agreed. Back when I lived in Germany, my local bar used to serve that stuff. It's pretty nasty, but fun. I still have an unopened bottle sitting on display on my liquor stand.

I also have a bottle from something called "Sexy Beer" and it has a picture of a naked lady on it.

Oh and a bottle from a shandy made with cucumber juice and beer. That **** was nasty and got poured over the side of a boat. It was green.
