Is all Stainless steel good for brewing?

I am planning a Brewmeister type system and I'm having problems finding an inner pipe (Pot) that is tall enough, all the pots I can find are not tall enough. I need something about 30cm diameter but it needs to be about 45cm tall and the only thing I can find that fits the bill is kitchen bin on eBay, I have messaged the sell to confirm that the base is sealed and stainless steel as a lot of them have a plastic base.

Can I use this bin for brewing in?

I have a similar bin in the kitchen (Brabantia) and it has no base at all.

The seller said it has a solid base but even if it dosn't that's ok as I will be fitting a removable false bottom. I realy want to know if it is food (beer) safe?

So does mine but it's the plastic bin liner that has the base, no the metal bin, if that makes sense. Hopefully it'll be o.k for your use but I'd be asking for extra photo's before parting with any cash.
