question !! if i use irish moss in the boil could i also use finings in the second fermentation to make really sure of a clear end product ???
cheers dudes

The simple answer to your question is yes. Altho i found that if you use moss in the boil, and leave your beer to condition for around 6 weeks it will be perectly clear. In my honest opinion there isnt any need to add finnings to beer, altho some people will disagree.

I get finings just hurries it along so commercially it is needed more. I bottle without finings but will if I am putting into cornie so I can get drinking quickly!

cheers lads,
i think im gonna give the finings a go cause im tryin to clear the beer inside 3 weeks!!! we'll see what happens.
