Hopefully taking a mate at my work along to Edina Homebrew in Edinburgh tomorrow. He's been subjected to me and another mate at work yacking on about our homebrewing, and has decided to give it a go

So, we're going to get him sorted out with a decent two can kit and all the wee bits he'll need to do his first brew. Hopefully it'll be to his liking and we'll have him hooked on it ;)

We went, he walked out with a St Peters Ruby Red Ale kit, a starter FV kit and various other little bits for £50 or so :drink:

By heck the lads in there can talk   :drink: :drink: :drink:

I missed that it was yesterday that you posted. Well done on getting your mate into the hobby.

Yes Davie can blether for Scotland.

I once popped in for a few bits and bobs and ended up staying for about 4 hours and left pretty drunk. There just happened to be some beer left over from a meeting and he was quite happy to dish it out.

I popped into Edina for the first time today, got a new kit which I started tonight, a sodastream bottle for my pressure keg and a few bits for syphoning.

I was there for over half an hour getting advice, tips and just having a chat!

Nice bloke, great prices, and 5 minutes up the road from me!

Jamie
