Press and hold in the "Set" button for about 5 seconds.
The top display will start flashing and the bottom will have a fixed number. This is the Set Point.
The Set Point is the temperature you require. It can be adjusted in 10ths of a degree by pressing the "Up" and "Down" buttons.
Pressing the "Set" button will move you through the other elements of control. These can include:
- Band Width. i.e. The band + or - from the Set Point during which the controller won't react.
- Compressor Delay. i.e. The delay time from when the controller wishes to start the fridge chilling.
- High Temperature Alarm.
- Low Temperature Alarm.
- Fahrenheit or Celsius. i.e. The temperature scale that you wish to use.
Pressing and holding the "Set" button for about 5 seconds will save the current settings and return the controller to "Control" mode. i.e. It will switch on a Heater or a Cooler as required.
My advice is to play around with the Controller to see how it reacts to your own particular requirements. I always strap the probe to the FV and insulate it from the air in the fridge with an ordinary domestic sponge.
Please remember that
when properly set up the Inkbird will control the temperature of the FV to
within 0.5*C of the Set Point ...
... and it it fails to achieve this then it is more than likely that
you have set it up incorrectly.

(*) One exception to this rule is if the Heater within the Brew Fridge is putting out too much heat. In this case the Heater itself may require its own control to prevent the system from overshooting or starting to "hunt" whereby the temperature fluctuates wildly either side of the Set Point.
