Inkbird BBQ thermometer

hello all,
Just thought I'd do a long term review of the Inkbird BBQ thermometer IBT-2X.
A great item! I use it as pictured to monitor my brew temp both heating and cooling. Also for heating my mash and sparge water and checking mash temp. Dead easy to use,link it to your phone via Bluetooth and a free app too if you like. Very handy for checking temp as you chill to flame out hops and pitch temp.
Although I got mine free through the forum from one of inkbirds promotion offers I would like to point out this is a true,non biased review of a nice reliable bit of kit. I've used mine for well over a year.

I would add my endorsement to this product. I also won it in the giveaway last year. I’ve actually used it for cooking moreso than brewing but the functionality as Clint described is spot on. Me and my dad came to be cooking some lamb in the New Zealand ‘hangi’ style which involves burying wrapped up meat under earth in a pit that has red hot stones in it to cook. Obviously with no way to monitor progress, the remote access to temperature was really useful!
