I'm about to go to the shop to buy some more stuff to make another brew and was wondering

Is brewers yeast different from yeast for baking or would I be able to use either?

I already have a tub of yeast nutrient, is this what I should be using to ferment or is that something totally different.

What type of sugar would be the best to buy?

After my first brew I bottled some and then put the rest in a keg. The bottles were carbonated when I went to drink it but the beer in the keg wasn't. What could have went wrong?

I'm only gonna go to tesco for the ingredients so some of the stuff you would normally suggest might not be availiable, I was just looking for suggestions based on things I'll be able to buy tonight.

What are you brewing?

Yes, brewing yeast and baking yeast are two different things.
No, you shouldn't use baking yeast for brewing.

I always add yeast nutrient when making wine but have never used it when brewing beer.

If you're going to Tesco, use regular granulated sugar.

Your keg probably wasn't sealed properly, next time rub a smear of Vaseline on the o-ring inside the lid.

I'll be brewing a lager kit, not sure exactly what kind yet I'm just going to buy one. Tesco seem to sell all the other stuff so I hope they have brewing yeast. What's the difference between yeast nutrient and brewing yeast?

If you're buying a lager kit it will include a sachet of yeast.

Yeast nutrient is food for yeasties to get them off to a healthy start. Like I said, I have never used it for brewing beer.

Thanks a lot I think I'm sorted now. Just one last thing, I've picked up beer kit enhancer instead of sugar, should I get that or stick to regular sugar?

You can use the enhancer but that might be more appropriate for something like a Bitter kit.
