Today was bottling day for my Bonne Nuit Ale. I was going for a sweet ( ish) stout style but may have not hit the depth of colour I wanted - we shall see,
5kg Marris otter
0.5kg Black Crystal 400ebc
0.5kg Special B 300ebc
0.5kg torrified wheat.
50gms Fuggles for 90 min boil
used 50/50 light malt extract and dark brown sugar 120 gms for carbonation as i want it not too fizzy !
came out at 4.2% - bit lower than planned but did not want it strong - its more about the taste and 'mouth'
in all I bottled 25ltrs - now to wait
