I would not choose hash browns off a buffet but would eat them if served.
Nothing should be served in a pot! It's a way to give you less!
Absolutely nothing should be served on a plank or slate...its a plate you need.

Beans in a pot is better as bean juice and egg yolk mixed is revolting

Oh and tomatoes from a tin on a fry is just wrong. Fresh fried half a tomato

Whole plum tomatoes from a tin are good on a fry up as the acidity cuts through the grease. Plus the tomato juice is good for soaking the fried bread in. The food of Jesus!

Personally I'm not averse to them, we quite often have them when having a fry up at home and I wouldn't turn my nose up at them from a hotel breakfast buffet or if served as part of a full English in a café. So yeah here to stay by the looks of it.

Do like a bit of fried bread though.

In an perfect world I'd have this:

Sausages (min 2)
Smoke Back Bacon (min 2 rashers)
Fried egg, bit runny but crispy white (1 or 2)
Black pudding
Beans (not in a pot, juices need to mix)
Fried mushrooms
Fried tomato
Fried bread

Sauce - HP

Toast on the side
Big mug of tea.
