Excuse me for maybe being thick the the message seems a little ambiguous. I know it's old,is it still applicable? Are we not allowed to pass on recommendations (good or bad) about suppliers etc?

We have seperate forum for Brewing Supplies links where people do share their experiences of the homebrew shops and online retailers that they use.

The online retailer in the thread that you listed however is one that we do not allow any comments on (either good or bad) as they have taken exception to some posts on the forum and have threatened legal recourse. Ultimately the forum is responsible for the information that is posted so regrettably we have decided that any posts about them will be removed.
