The 100 ml trial jar from Wilco's is very accurately calibrated!
But you can't see through the thing so it's not a fat lot of use as a trial jar.

Sorry Prolix, I know exactly what you mean, if I have to concede to getting dragged around that place I do so under protest, and I will try to control my temper for about 45 minutes. Spotting something like that almost justified the trip. I bought 2, just in case.

The ladies are having an IKEA xmas shopping trip here in Turkey to IZMIR so the orders in - if they have those here at all - funnily enough one asked me if it had anything to do with winemaking - ha ha

You know what I mean, mine's translucent polypropylene, and unlike glass or clear polycarbonate I can't easily read a hydrometer through it without squinting through a magnifying glass.

yeah, same here.

That Ikea one looks like it's just the ticket.

mine too :thumb:

My fear is how much that £1.99 escalates if the mrs heads to IKEA - could end up bloody expensive trial jar

those Ikea jars are blooming expensive, it cost me a fortune not including food and petrol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am never telling the missus I am nipping out to Ikea again. Went out for a trial jar came back with three cabinets, a wardrobe and as we were near a washing machine!!!!! And I had to put the buggers together as well with no help!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a £2 pound glass jar for goodness sake!

But it is pretty

Oh dear, exactly as Hawks had feared and predicted, sorry

At least we did it the other way around, went for a corner desk and a mattress and also came away with a trial jar.

Got mine from Ikea Turkey yesterday! some girlies went on a shoppin trip from here and filled a bus! Thankfully my dragon was in UK so didnt cost me anything - the girl gave it me and just asked for a bottle of wine! - Result!
