Can someone tell me what the ideal serving temperature is for a hefeweizen?

Just wanted to make sure I drink the bottle I received for the bottle swap at the correct temperature :drink:

It depends. I drink most of my ales at 10-14c (cellar temperature)

If i want it to be really refreshing on a nice summers day, i would drink it colder. Weizen for me is a nice refreshing pint, served at 4-7C

The general rule for me is that warmer beer means more flavor, while colder beers hide some of the flavors, making it refreshing and easy to drink.

Hi,

as a German used to drink Hefeweizen  I would agree to a range between 8 - 10 degrees C.

Cheers,
Norbert
