Does anyone else use this app? I heard about on the brewing TV podcast. I've made several recipes from it. Was wondering if anyone else had made any good brews from it. I like the thinly veiled clones "Innkeeper" read Timmy Taylor Landlord. Just enjoying a "caribou slobber". If you live in the US you can order the recipe packs straight from Northen brewer with the right yeast etc. Wish someone would do that here, I hate collecting up everything needed to brew.

I've seen the Maltmiller packs and Brew UK, thing I like about the NB range is the sheer variety. Most UK based company's only seem to do ale packs, which is great but a sack of MO and a few other grains and you can make most ale recipes. I would like to be able to make Saisons, Belgian ales, Sours etc without having to source all the specialty ingredients.

That's true. The flip side is I'm amazed how many different beers can be made with just a big sack of pale malt, goldings and a few other bits!

absolutely, you should never under appreciate a simple recipe too. some stuff may have a long list of ingredients, but it's hard to beat a typical ale with pale, crystal, fuggles and goldings and not much else ;)
