i want to do 2 red wine brews for holiday

i want to do 2 red wine brews for holiday, only 6 bottles each brew , i did the ken ridge shiraz which i loved, i have sampled a 7 day red wine which was done by my local home brew shop and it was :sick: but he did say it was not to nice ,so ill keep to doing the 3 week ones, is there some good ones out there like the ken ridge shiraz .i was hoping for about £10 a kit , iv got 10 weeks till i go on holiday :party:

A 7 day kit is total BS, you can't make a drinkable wine in 7 days. I have allways just let nature take it's course and accept that the wine will be ready when it's ready.

A red wine in my opinion will take longer than a white, even so you should be able to make a fairly drinkable red in 10 weeks. It all depends on your standards, I guess.
