I Think I've Been Robbed!

Just checked my stash. Out of the 24 x 1.5L bottles of grog I've produced in the last fortnight, I've only got 5 left! I vaguely remember inviting a couple from over the road for a drink, but nothing more.

No point in calling the cops, as they'll probably put it down to extreme intoxication / memory loss. That said, I'm going to seriously ramp up security here - starting with actually locking the shed!

That should do it - providing I get her indoors to confiscate the key, just in case the "thief" is me

empty crisp or scratchings packets ? slippers ?

He did! I've just found an empty packet of Walker's crisps (Ready Salted), and funnily enough, there was a left sided flip flop (mine) in the kitchen pointing in the general direction of the shed. I can only think I've gone out there to confront the intruder, or else have been startled by a commotion.

I'll get to the bottom of this.

together with the crisp packet, I deduce we are looking for a fat lazy bastard who is walking with a limp at the moment.

Buggeration! I think you might be right, as I've just found 4 slices of rock hard bread (it was stuck to a plate) in the fuffin' microwave. What it's doing there I don't know, as I don't eat bread, and if I did, there's plenty of fresh stuff in the bread bin.

I do however have "form" for episodical, drink induced memory loss :)
