This arrived today :D Absolute BARGAIN
Shiney.jpg

Inner.jpg

It holds 14lts of water & is insulated. :thumb:
I plan to use it as a mash tun for 15ltr brew lengths. Does that sound like a reasonable idea.

Fb's can be made with hinges to get in those awkward spots. As long as the hole is no smaller than Half of the diameter I can get one in there :thumb:

Looks good for the job :thumb:

MD The whole is much bigger than half the diameter. Will measure up and e mail you for a quote :thumb:

If I use a false bottom does this mean I would not need a strainer in the tun???????.

The bottom is the Strainer as you put it.
I'll want the Diameter, the position of the tap inlet, the Height above the bottom to the centre of the tap inlet and the rough size of the tap inlet.

What about his inside leg ;)

Nice :thumb:

Just put that on watch, would love to replace my plastic taps with three of those

Got my false bottom from MD today it fits like a glove top work fella :thumb:

Also got my Shiny tap. Anyone know where I can get A John Guest Fitting to connect tap to the Corni. I assume you can get a 15mm female threaded to 3/8th pipe connector????.

What I need Dave will have a female fitting to screw onto the tap (a nut from a 15mm compression fitting srews on) with a speedfit to take 3/8th beer line so I can connect tap to Corni.
So I need to join these
