I have had my best day at work

I had to go to a meeting at the Horse and groom pub in Gosforth Cumbria.

One of the lads told the owner Howard that I am a home brewer. I did not know at the time that Howard also brewed his own beer for his pub under the name Great Gable Brewing Co but I do now. Howard chatted about brewing for ages he gave me some free sample to take home to try even though I would not be back as a regular customer as I live 100 miles away. I felt a bit guilty about this so I bought a case of 12. Howard still gave me a discount on the case so I got a couple of bottles free.

He also insisted that I give him a call some time so that I can go along to the brewery to watch his process.

What a great day at work.

Ha I wish they would hold all the meetings in a pub.

One of the large out buildings had been converted to a conference facility so that I why it was chosen.
