 Finally after a couple of months with all the equipment ready I went out last night to collect a swarm of bees
The wife was shocked when I took the lid off the box holding them, by the amount of bees and the volume of noise
They are now tucked up in their new home, sorry didn't get any pics as it was getting late and just wanted them in, will take some on my next inspection in a couple of days time.
Can't wait for honey next year :D another excuse to buy shiny stuff as the extractors are wonderfully shiny! :ugeek:

Neither did we, seems all the warm weather has made alot of bees expand very quickly, hence going to collect a swarm still will purchase some known bees in June, that way I have two types to compare against.
Also got can't say no to Freebies   get it Free Bees

I'll get my coat

awesome Nick! Mead on the cards next year by any chance! :D

Might be on the Cards this year as I have been offered 70lb of unsellable honey

Beekeeper was given it by another keeper but is unsure of its origin and doesn't want to put into his jars and sell on, basically his reputation is on the line, don't blame him. The Deal is I have it and send back honey beer and Mead for some assocation meetings :thumb:
