Hi all. Have been reading a few things on this forum over the last few weeks, so I thought it was time that I should join up. I've been brewing for about a year now (some periods more active then others), I started with some Rhubarb wine after picking up some second hand D/J's from the classifieds, and have now done some WOW's, TC, Fruit Tea bag wines, Nettle Wine, Blackberry Wine, and last night I put on some mead (dead chuffed!). Got some WOW variants, more tea bag wines, and an elderberry wine (if the weather improves) all planned for the near future.

So far I'm most impressed with my Rhubarb and the tea bag wines - I think I need to get a hydrometer as at the moment I rack after fermentation appears to have ceased, and sometimes things turn out lip smackingly dry! And the time I tried to back sweeten, well, lets say that it didn't improve the wine!
