How best to keep open bags of malt? I know freshness is paramount but I'm going to have most of a bag of caramalt left after this weekends brew.

I'll use some more of it soon but still likely to have the majority left. Airtight bags? Freezer?

I just seal the bag tightly and keep in an airtight container on a shelf.

Sounds like a plan. Tbh I'll probably never use the full kilo but can't bear to chuck stuff out

Young's 23l fermentation bins are airtight, I whack all my open bags of malt in a couple of those, one for light malts and one for dark.

I put mine in a resealable sandwich bag and squeezed as much air out as I can before sealing it and stuck it in my fridge wrapped in a tea towel
