Hi guys,

Just wondering how old the guys/gals on the forum are.
Approx of course, i wouldn't get anyone to divulge their age to the year.

Andy

Ahh, but i wasn't here then and there wasn't a poll

Agreed, no harm in running the question again with the poll.

I'm 54, started making wine and occasionally brewing kit beers in my mid to late teens and early twenties (mid 1970s to early 1980s), took a long break and then came back to it in March '09.

I started brewing when river cottage came out around 1998
After watching it i got an allotment too and also began foraging for willd stuff.
I made my first batch of bramble wine when i was 25 and did a few others, Parsnip, Gooseberry, Rose hip, and also Elderberry, i tried Elder flower but it smelled of wee so never did that one again!
I then began brewing again at the beginning of this year but beer this time, although i will be going out to gather some brambles for a gallon or two of wonderful full bodied bramble wine.

25... but I guess you can't call me a home brewer yet, as I've not started (other than helping my dad with his homebrew wines when I was around 10-12)

44 here,
Although SWMBO says I vary between 9 and 72 depending on my mood and alcohol level!

Why does my nasal and ear hair seem to be growing at an alarming rate!

:wha: happy Friday everyone! :drink:

Like me you look a damn sight older
