how much coil

how many meters of coil should i use in a asparagus steamer for my hermes my first thoughts were 5 meters but there is no way that is going to fit in there, are there any pics of how you have done yours because i am a bit confused i recon that i would only coil 2 meters in there at a push this is the steamer i am using

mark how do you stand the herms unit up as you have element out of the base ?????
also wot do you pump it through with as i have a solar pump :thumb:

Wow i cant believe you actually got 5 meters in there that's amazing ok 5 it is i will have ago :thumb:

i used a golf cup from the golf course where i work and cut it in half. You could use normal pipe the same they use for toilet waste it works out the same diameter. We use a solar pump for the herms heres a couple of pics with it working
