I am wondering how long a beer will last under pressure in a Corny Keg?

I usually brew both Bitters or Lagers and wonder how long can these stay in good health in a corny?

1) Connected to Gas continuously

2) Carbonated and then Isolated from the gas line?

thanks people

I always disconnect the supply once they are carb'd as I don't want to find empty bottles because of leaks. If the Keg is sealed up tight with no leaks should be no reason to have to leave it plumbed in.
As for age it depends on malt bills and Og's but I get 3 months easily out of most ales, but only ever store stouts of High Og's for longer periods. The lower Og's get drunk the quickest, so generally don't make it past it's 3rd month b day :drink:

Thanks for that reply,

I am inclined to also remove the supply once carbonated and just connect each time i want to dispense.

I only have one Corny at present but am looking to increase this to 3 then 4.

I have 3 beer pumps ready a fantastic San Miguel one, A Tomos Watkins and a Kaltenberg one.

My plan next spring is to build an outdoor garden bar.

:)
