How long in primary FV?

I am about to do a better brew kit,but I wont have enogh bottles free for a couple of weeks,will it be ok in the primary for that long?Or should I wait until bottles are ready?Thanks in advance folks.

best to ferment for around 2 weeks anyway , 3 would be ok but pushing your luck .

You'll be fine up to three weeks. You need two at least. If I was feeling lazy with kits it would be a week of the bulk of fermentation then a fortnight just sitting with dry hops. Turned out very nicely. :thumb:

But, as pittsy says - going beyond three weeks in primary it pushing it.
