How long is it ok to keep homebrew beer/cider in a pressure barrel/king keg/corn keg for?
How long is it ok to keep the above in bottles?
how long is it ok to keep homebrew wine in bottles? to see if its worthwhile having wine rack in cellar for example

To some extent it depends on the brew. Generally the higher the alcohol the longer it keeps. WOW type wine is good for a year or so, while some fruit/vegetable wine are only coming good after a year or more. Beer is similar. If kept in proper conditions and in the right container it should last a year or more for some types such as Imperial stouts. Keep it in the dark, at around 16c for ales and darker beer, and in a good container and you will be fine. Cornies work best as they prevent oxygen migration and keep the beer in total darkness. If glass then use brown as that blocks some of the harmful light getting in.

Beer - don't know about barrel, mine's finished in about two months. My oldest bottled beer was about 6 years.
Wine - I still have an unopened bottle from a sherry kit which is 10 years old.
Main thing is it must have a good level of alcohol (=preservative) and the general brewing/fermenting process took place in sanitised conditions.

I've bottles that are over a year old they are dwindling somewhat, thats until I find a case lurking in the garage that I'd put away for a special occasion. The oldest of my brew that I've had would be somewhere about 18 months old, it was fine very drinkable :!:

I gave my brother a 2 litre clear glass flagon of my first cider (used to be Westons Old Rosie), brewed from 2004 harvest - it sat in his garage for several years, as he doesn't really drink much cider. They found it when they changed garages with a neighbour, and gave it back to us, and it went into one of our cupboards, and about a year later we drank it - (2011?) - and it tasted absolutely fine. Glass bottle, screw lid.

my dad made some apple wine, which came with him when he moved house, definitely made before 1980, found in the garage probably around 2004? - tasted effin horrible. green glass bottles with corks, but stored upright, and the corks had dried out. Not off as such - just undrinkable.
